Where the decisions live.
Each waypoint marks one choice we made for this audience and why it earned its place.
A stage presence, a buried offer.
Renée Marino spent more than two decades performing professionally, five Broadway productions among them, before becoming an international keynote speaker, event host, and bestselling author. Her site lived on Wix, and adding to it was slow enough that a mutual contact introduced us for that reason alone.
The harder problem was the message. Event planners, speaker bureau agents, and corporate buyers judge a speaker site in seconds, and they ask one question: what will this person do for my people? Proof of stage presence was easy. Showing what an organization gains, and that Renée offers deeper training beyond the keynote, was not. Midway through the build her team returned from a six-day business seminar with a sharper ideal client and refreshed messaging, and asked us to carry it into the site.
Buyer first, then the spotlight.
Clarity came before design. We named who the visitor is and what they need to do: understand the business value, see Renée in action, and book. The homepage now opens on her strategy ladder, communication to human connection to higher performance, with Book Renée and Watch Renée speak side by side. The reel moved out from behind the headline so the message reads first and the video is one click away.
The first look went out in mid-August as a staging link with a recorded tour and in-page comments. The feedback that came back in one consolidated round shaped everything after it: keep the hero dark and dramatic, then open into lighter sections as you scroll; use orange for energy and teal for sophistication; make the three Acts, the Speaker, the Host, and the Method, the visible structure of the homepage; and give corporate training its own place in the main navigation beside Speaking and Hosting. A simple outcomes section and a credibility line, Broadway trained her, Clint Eastwood directed her, Tony Robbins trusts her with his stages, sit near the top.
Under the design is a static Astro site on Cloudflare with Sanity as the content system, so the team can edit and publish without us. When they began posting to the Insights blog, three posts a week, we added the Studio fields they asked for: required cover alt text, a call-to-action block, tidy categories, and redirects. The booking form is spam-protected and routed into the team CRM, structured data describes Renée as a person and her company as an organization, and the policy pages come through Termageddon.

Launch and grow
September to OctoberLaunch assets, the booking form, then the Insights blog and Book Renée refinements.
The team took the pen.
The site launched in autumn 2026. A founder who connects speakers with bureau agents saw it and reached out to Renée, which led to an introduction to us. We also made launch graphics and launch videos so the announcement had something to carry.
The team now publishes to the Insights blog on their own schedule and is reading how visitors move through the site. The first project from that work is a refresh of the Book Renée page with added proof points and tracking, so the next chapter can be measured in bookings.
Keep exploring the work.
